Hi everyone, I wanted to use this space to introduce myself. I'm Beth Marshall and I am the Student Engagement Lead for the OT Hub. I'm a final year student at Coventry University. I hope to support student members and to encourage you all to make the most of this platform, to connect with other students around the globe! I will also be contacting university societies for collaboration and to promote our FREE membership and excellent resources which are available on this website. As you may know today is World Occupational Therapy day, a day to celebrate our profession. A profession which looks holistically at the service user and empowers them to complete the tasks which they want & need to do. The diversity of the profession also, which allows us to use all our core values and key skills in such a range of settings where we can work. If you have any further questions... comment below, follow me on twitter @BethjmOT or feel free to create your own discussion in this space. I would love you all to engage in this student space, ask questions, share your experiences or topics you wish to discuss. Just as a reminder, please be aware of professionalism on social media and confidentiality in line with our OT HCPC Code of Professional Conduct and ethics. Make sure service user or service trust information is kept confidential at all times -http://www.hpc-uk.org/registrants/getinvolved/guidance/index.asp?id=1394 Thankyou and hope to hear from you all soon!
